On June 4th, 2013, Professor Bai Yang and Professor Wenbing Hu attended the Sino-French bilateral seminar Polymer Nanocomposites: Properties and Applications and visited the key laboratory.
Professor Bai Yang, born in 1962, majored in polymer chemistry and physics, Jilin University. He was supported by the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 1999. His research interests include nanocomposite and assembly of polymer and inorganic particles, construction and assembly of amphiphilic interfaces and ordered patterned surfaces in nano, micron scale and so on.
Professor Wenbing Hu, born in 1966, department of polymer science, college of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Nanjing University. In 2004, he was supported by Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University of the Ministry of Education. In 2008, he was supported by the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. His research focuses on the crystallography of polymer and its related physicochemical problems, with lattice theory and Monte Carlo simulation at molecular level, supplemented by temperature modulated differential thermal analysis and other physical characterization methods.
