Ph.D., Associate Professor

Tao Chen is the deputy director of the Research Institute of Polymer Science. He received the B.E. in polymer chemical engineering from ECUST in 1994 and stayed for teaching. He received the Master in materials in 2000 and Ph.D. in 2007. From Nov. 2001 to Nov. 2002, he did the cooperative studies on bio-polypeptide structures and properties in Tokyo Institute of Polytechnics, supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan. After returning, he works mainly on self-assembly of polymer, biomedical polymer, polymer synthesis, and processing technology of polymer materials.
